The Government of Nepal is not just a partner in our work. It is the reason our work lasts.

The Government of Nepal is the foundational pillar of our Network of Safety model. We work in close partnership with all three levels of government, federal, provincial, and local, because lasting change in a health system can only happen when the people responsible for running it are invested in making it work.

At the federal level, the Ministry of Health and Food Safety sets national policy, standards, and guidelines that shape everything we do. At the provincial level, health ministries coordinate between federal priorities and local delivery. At the local level, municipal governments are our most direct partners, co-investing in facility upgrades, training, and quality improvement, and ultimately assuming full fiscal and programmatic responsibility for the health system we build together.
