  • A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account that allows individuals or families to donate money or assets, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants to nonprofits over time. It is the fastest-growing charitable giving vehicle in the U.S. because it is one of the easiest and most tax-advantageous ways to give to charity.   • You can send your gift directly to One Heart Worldwide by bank wire. This can be a good option for larger gifts, or for supporters who prefer to give outside our online platform.

Tax-deductible giving outside the United States

One Heart Worldwide is a US-registered 501(c)(3), so our online platform issues tax-deductible receipts for donors in the United States. If you are based in Australia, Canada, or Hong Kong, you can still make a tax-deductible gift.

  • One Heart Worldwide is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim your gift as a deduction on your U.S. tax return, please keep your donation receipt as your official record.

  • Online donors receive a tax receipt by email as soon as the donation is complete, so please check your spam folder if you do not see it. Receipts are also available through your GoFundMe Pro donation profile. If you have trouble accessing your profile or locating your receipt, email us at info@oneheartworldwide.org and we will help.


    If you give through any of the other methods listed above, our team will send your tax receipt by email within 10 business days of receiving your gift.

  • Our online donation platform accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit and debit cards, along with Google Pay and ACH bank transfer. For other payment options, please see the giving methods above.

    If you need to cancel, please reach out to us before contacting your bank. Bank-initiated cancellations create fees for OHW, and we would welcome the chance to resolve any issue with you first. We take your concerns seriously and are committed to working with you.
