PHASE 1: Program set-up (1 year):

Expansion to each new district requires at least one year to effectively establish our local program. Set-up for our programs requires OHW to meet with local representatives from each Palika. Activities in this phase focus largely on building human resources and establishing all internal and external baseline data systems, laying the foundation for effective program implementation (Phase II). 

In 2022, we will begin the program set-up process in 4 new districts (Bara, Mahottari, Kalikot, and Dailekh), representing a program catchment area of 51 Palikas, a population of 2,015,755 and 48,427 annual pregnancies.
