Why does Hillidevi Health Post need an upgraded Birthing Center?

“At the moment, our Birthing Center is quite basic. We have only four rooms for antenatal care, postnatal care, delivery, and post-delivery. The close quarters make it difficult for both health staff and patients, with the main concern being privacy. After the construction of the Birthing Center upgrades, we can provide MNH service in enough space which could support providing quality service following the standard protocols. Moreover, the level of trust from patients will increase after receiving an improved quality of service.

After the completion of Hiledevi Birthing Center, we believe that the number of institutional deliveries, along with antenatal care appointments, will increase significantly. Thank you OHW team for addressing the need & support to construct Hiledevi BC which was ignored by Palika & Ward previously.”
