What is an advocacy community?
An advocacy community is a group of people who come together to raise awareness and support for maternal and newborn health in Nepal. You might already be part of one. We work most closely with two kinds of groups:
University student groups
Students focused on global health, maternal and newborn health, or Nepal and South Asia bring energy, ideas, and reach. Campus groups help us tell this story to a new generation and turn interest in global health into real support for families in Nepal.
Nepali diaspora communities
Nepalis around the world carry a deep connection to home and a powerful voice for the mothers and newborns still waiting for quality care. Diaspora groups help us reach new audiences, share our work within their networks, and keep Nepal's maternal and newborn health on the agenda in the communities where they live.
